Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Gets More RPG Elements, Coming October 5th
The latest Assassin’s Creed game will be subtitled Odyssey and set in ancient Greece. The game this time contains a lot of RPG elements and players can choose from a male or female player character. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will be released on October 5.
One of the most notable RPG elements on display was the dialogue options, according to the gameplay footage. These should also influence the course of the story. The naval combat first seen in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will also return, according to Ubisoft’s E3 press conference.
As is often the case with Assassin’s Creed, players will come into contact with several great figures from history as the story progresses. The player is in any case a descendant of the Spartan king Leonidas. But the game also has more to offer in terms of nameless and faceless characters. For example, in the gameplay demo it can be seen that the hordes of enemies that the player has to compete against can now be a lot bigger.
In addition to the reveal trailer and gameplay, Ubisoft also posted a developer diary. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows on October 5 this year.
