‘Villain Game’ Lego DC Super-Villains Coming To Consoles And PC On October 17
Warner Bros. has announced Lego DC Super-Villains. The game will be released on October 17 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game stars villains from the DC universe.
In Lego DC Super-Villains, players can create and play with their own DC Super Villain, according to the publisher. That self-made character becomes the centerpiece of the story, which requires further collaboration with the well-known villains from the DC universe, such as The Joker, Harley Quinn and Lex Luthor.
According to the developer, creating a villain yourself involves an “unprecedented amount of variables to choose from.” As the game progresses, players can further customize their character with new abilities and powers. The game will feature a local two-player co-op mode that will allow a second player to step in at any time.
The game’s story was co-written with DC. The game was developed by TT Games, the studio that also has the other Lego games to its name. Along with the game’s announcement, Warner Bros. released a trailer, but it doesn’t show any gameplay yet.
