Rocket League gets new beach-themed arena

Psyonic has announced that the studio is adding a new arena to Rocket League on May 29. The arena will be named Salty Shores and will have a beach theme. The studio is also adding a new car to the game.

The new arena has been announced on the Rocket League blog. Salty Shores is located on an American beach, next to a pier with amusement rides. In the trailer, Psyonix presents the environment with an 80s theme.

In addition to the new world, Psyonix also adds a new car. The so-called Twinzer has a design that resembles a beach buggy. Also, the developer is announcing the eighth competitive season and some minor improvements to the game.

Psyonix indicates that the update will be available from May 29. In addition, the studio will be holding an in-game event called Beach Blast on June 11. The company has yet to reveal what this event entails.
