Download Koffice 1.3.1

It’s been three and a half months since KOffice 1.3 hit the wide web, its developers thought it was high time to get rid of the discovered bugs. Since yesterday we can use version 1.3.1 of this office suite that is part of the KDE project. There are quite a bit made improvements to KWord, KPresenter, KSpread and Kivio, among others. In addition, there are some changes in the basics of KOffice:

KOfficeCore:

• Changed .desktop file setup so that changes to the K menu structure, to file-program associations, or other distribution customizations cannot prevent KOffice applications from starting.
• Fixed parsing of number+unit, due to change in Qt 3.3. Fixes problems when opening OOWriter documents in particular.
• Don’t show the filter dialog when generating thumbnails
• Improved error handling to catch “partition full” problems.

KOfficeUI:

• Fix overwriting or templates (#73537)
• Fix loading icons when creating templates
• Allow template icons up to 64×64 instead of 60×60 and scale better if too big
