Nintendo releases compact stand that can load Switch

Nintendo releases a small stand for its Switch, which can be used immediately to charge the console. The adjustable stand should make it easier to play and load at the same time.

The standard with charging option will appear on July 13. Nintendo cites a US price of $20. Converted and with VAT, that comes down to about 21 euros. The connection to charge the Switch is at the bottom, which makes it difficult to play in Tabletop mode and charge at the same time.

The Adjustable Charging Stand for Nintendo Switch should solve that problem and thus ensure longer play sessions, according to the Japanese manufacturer. Until now, it was third parties that released these types of chargers for the Switch.

Nintendo has sold 17.79 million Switch systems. The E3 games show starts in Los Angeles on June 12, where Nintendo is expected to make more announcements around the game console.
