‘Samsung wants to release unannounced Galaxy A6 smartphones in May’
According to information from the German site WinFuture, Samsung plans to release its hitherto unannounced Galaxy A6 and A6+ in May. The site publishes the full specs and images of the two new devices.
The information published on the site shows that the A6 has a 5.6″ OLED screen with a resolution of 1480×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. This version runs on an Exynos 7870-soc from Samsung with a clock frequency of 1.6GHz.The memory, according to WinFuture, depends on where the smartphone is purchased, there are variants with 3GB ram and 32GB storage, and versions with 4GB ram and 64GB storage.
The memory can be expanded to a maximum of 256GB with a micro-SD card and there is also room for two nano-SIM cards. The battery capacity is 3000mAh and the device has a sixteen-megapixel camera on both the front and the back. At the back, there is also a fingerprint scanner below the camera.
A6+, via WinFuture
The Galaxy A6+ distinguishes itself from the cheaper variant by a larger 6 “screen with a resolution of 2220×1080 pixels, but with the same screen ratio. Contrary to previous rumors, according to WinFuture, this device runs on a Snapdragon 450-soc from Samsung with a clock speed of 1.8GHz Also with this device, the memory configuration differs per country, but the maximum storage is 400GB.Another difference with the A6 is the dual camera on the back, with the primary camera being a sixteen-megapixel model. megapixel model and live focus support.
