MSI Introduces Two Gamer-Oriented Cases
MSI has introduced the MAG Pylon and the Mag Bunker, two housings painted in black that should appeal to gamers. The MAG Pylon is the premium version with, among other things, three RGB fans on the front. Prices and release dates are still unknown.
With the MAG Pylon, the side panels and the front panel are made of tempered glass with a thickness of 4 mm, with three 120 mm fans fitted as standard at the front that can be illuminated with RGB lighting. Mystic Light Sync is supported so that lighting can be synchronized with other MSI products.
The Mag Bunker is much the same as the MAG Pylon, but only has a clear tempered glass panel on the front and left side. This housing also has to do without the three RGB fans on the front. The presumably cheaper Mag Bunker does have a single 120mm fan on the back of the case.
Both cases feature vertical locks and a kit to mount graphics cards in a vertical position for better viewing through the side panel of the MAG Pylon. The cabinets have a size of 440 x 218 x 470 mm and allow users to store atx, micro-atx and mini-itx motherboards. Furthermore, video cards with a maximum length of 370 mm and processor coolers with a maximum height of 165 mm fit in. For storage, there is room for two 3.5″ and four 2.5″ drives. On the top of the cabinets are two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 connections and the 3.5mm jack.
