Cuphead is coming to Nintendo Switch next month
The game Cuphead will be released next month for the Nintendo Switch, the Japanese console manufacturer has announced. The game was released in 2017 as an exclusive title for Xbox and Windows 10.
The game will also support Xbox Live on the Switch, Microsoft reports. It’s been known for some time that Xbox Live would work on iOS, Android, and Switch, but this is the first major title to get that on Nintendo release. Developer MDHR will release the game for the Switch on April 18.
The original Cuphead game was released in September 2017 and harks back to the so-called rubber hose animation style, which is known from early Disney cartoons. By the end of 2017, two million copies of the game had been sold.
