No Man’s Sky coming this summer for Xbox One and getting major update
Developer Hello Games, through founder Sean Murray, has announced on Twitter that No Man’s Sky will also be available for the Xbox One this summer. In addition, there will be a major update.
An exact release date for the Xbox One has not yet been announced. The Xbox One version of the game, in which players have to explore a universe in an open world, will also contain all previously released updates in addition to the new update yet to be released. For the Xbox One X there will be support for HDR and 4K resolution.
The new update comes at the time of the game’s No Man’s Sky release for Xbox One. According to Murray it concerns ‘the biggest update to date’, which, like previous updates, will again be available for free to all players. However, Murray has not disclosed what the new update includes.
When No Man’s Sky came out in August 2016, there was no multiplayer mode available. A limited form of multiplayer was added in August 2017 with the Atlas Rises update. Also, this update added the “quick-travel” option, improved the game’s graphics quality, improved the waypoint system, and introduced more different spaceships.
