EvLeaks shows photo of the back of OnePlus 6

Telecom journalist Evan Blass has published a photo of a new OnePlus device on his Twitter account @evleaks. Most likely it is the OnePlus 6. Only the back can be seen.

from the photo It can be concluded that the OnePlus 6 will have a 3.5mm jack and that the fingerprint scanner is on the back. The housing appears to be made of metal, with an antenna line in the side at the bottom. It is possible that the back is made of plastic, although the photo does not make it clear which material it is exactly.

OnePlus used a material with a grain-like structure for its first device, the OnePlus One, and called it sandstone. The new smartphone may also have a different material.

It is not yet clear from the photo whether there is a dual camera on the device. However, the possibility seems to exist. Rumor has it that the OnePlus 6 will have such a dual camera, with the same resolutions of sixteen and twenty megapixels as those in the OnePlus 5T. Furthermore, the device would have a 6.2 “screen, equipped with a Snapdragon 845-soc and 8GB of ram.

It is not yet clear when OnePlus will announce its new device. Usually, the manufacturer presents its phone at the beginning of the summer.
