Hellblade launches April 11 for Xbox One
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be released on April 11 for Xbox One and Xbox One X. The game is made by Ninja Theory, the developer of DmC: Devil May Cry, among others. Hellblade was released last year for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Ninja Theory makes the arrival of the Xbox One version of Hellblade known in a tweet and in the responses to it, the studio indicates that the Xbox One X version will get three graphics modes: Enhanced Visuals, Better Performance and High Resolution. In the first two modes the game runs in a 1080p resolution, in performance mode the frame rate is 60fps. High resolution mode uses dynamic resolution with a 4k target.
Last year in August Hellblade was released for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Ninja Theory released the game independently and therefore had complete freedom over the content of the game. Hellblade is an action game that combines different genres. The game contains hack ‘n slash, puzzle and horror elements.
The game is inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture and the main character suffers from psychosis. To properly represent its properties, Ninja Theory has collaborated with mental health specialists, patients and neuroscientists. The Xbox One version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available for thirty euros in the Microsoft Store. There is a temporary discount of ten percent.
