MSI Introduces Vigor Keyboards with Cherry MX RGB Switches
MSI has unveiled the Vigor GK80 and Vigor GK70 mechanical keyboards for gamers. Both keyboards feature an anodized aluminum housing and Cherry MX RGB LED switches.
The Vigor GK80 is a standard keyboard with dedicated multimedia keys, while the GK70 is a tenkeyless variant with combo keys for multimedia applications. The GK80’s site states that this model features Cherry MX RGB LED switches in the Red line. With the GK70, MSI uses the Cherry MX RGB LED switches in the Speed Silver series.
Apart from the dimensions and the switches, the properties of the two keyboards are the same. The user can control the backlight with MSI’s Mystic Light software. The keyboards support 1000Hz polling, 10-key rollover and anti-ghosting. MSI will supply them from March along with twelve replaceable keycaps with rubber finish and four with metal surface for as yet unknown prices.
