Download Firmware Canon PowerShot S230/S45/G3 1.0.2.0

Canon has released a new firmware for the PowerShot S230, PowerShot S45 and PowerSHot G3. It carries the version number 1.0.2.0 and has the following changes:

PowerShot S230

• Corrects the incompatibility with certain computers that caused occasional errors in transmitting data from the computer to the camera.
• Corrects the phenomenon of under-exposure when shooting with Slow Synchro mode enabled.

PowerShot S45

• Corrects the incompatibility with certain computers that caused occasional errors in transmitting data from the computer to the camera.
• Corrects the occasional AF errors when using Active Frame Control / FlexiZone AF.

PowerShot G3

• Corrects the incompatibility with certain computers that caused occasional errors in transmitting data from the computer to the camera.
• Corrects the operational instability with Canon Speedlite 380EX Flash.
