Sony has released a new version of the USB drivers for its DSC-S70/S50/S30 and DSC-F505V/F55V series digital cameras. Also, this update is for the MSAC-US1 MemoryStick Adapter. The next release notes are left by the company:

This driver will resolve the issue where a “Fatal Exception OE” error appears, or when the computer automatically restarts when the camera is disconnected from the computer.

• This update is only for use with computers running the Windows® 98 or Windows® 98 Second Edition operating systems.
• This update consists of two drivers. One is the updated USB Mass Storage Class driver, and the other is the driver for the camera.
• IMPORTANT: This update requires a formatted floppy disk and a working floppy drive.
