Google comes with option to edit and share screenshots in Android
Google comes with an update to its app for Android, which makes it possible to edit screenshots and then share them. Users can already test the new capability in a beta version.
Those participating in the beta program can download version 7.21 of the Google application for Android, and Engadget, among others, has tried it out. The new ability to edit and share screenshots is hidden in the settings, and can be turned on under ‘accounts and privacy’.
If you turn on the option, you can adjust a screenshot taken on Android, by cropping it or by ‘drawing’ on the screenshot. Then the image can be shared with others. More options do not seem to be available for the time being, but Google may expand this further. It is not yet clear when the screenshot functionality will come to all Android users.
