Pixel 2 users report shorter battery life after installing update

It seems that the notifications started after Google released an update with the most recent security patches for the smartphones. The internet giant has not yet responded to the issue.

Users report, among other things, that their housing is getting warmer. This happens when the smartphone does nothing, but there are also users who report that the housing heats up quickly when performing simple tasks. In addition, the battery drains much faster than usual, and therefore also when the device has nothing to do.

It’s not the first time that Pixel 2 series issues have been reported. For example, there were problems with the screen of the Pixel 2 XL: there were claims about burn-in problems, but also discoloration, and the malfunctioning of the touchscreen.
