Mozilla to offer privacy package as a subscription
Mozilla plans to offer a paid privacy package. In the package, various services from Mozilla are offered in combination in a subscription. The package has not yet been officially announced.
German blogger Sören Hentzschel discovered several mockups for Mozilla’s new package. The Privacy Pack includes existing Mozilla products, including Firefox Relay, Firefox Monitor, and Mozilla VPN. In addition, more planned Mozilla products would be added to the service at a later stage.
According to Hentzschel, different prices are mentioned for the subscription. The cost for the subscription would be between 9.99 and 12.99 dollars per month. Prices in euros are not yet mentioned.
Mozilla Privacy Pack allows users to make unlimited use of Firefox Relay, which can create email aliases, according to the leaked information. In the free version of Firefox Relay, there is a limited number of aliases that can be created. Firefox Monitor monitors whether your email address is part of a data breach, similar to Have i been pwned’s service.
Mozilla is said to be working on an app that would allow all services to be controlled in a single app. On his blog, he shared the screenshots of the leaked information.
