The YouTube app for the Xbox One X console from Microsoft is currently getting an update to also support resolutions up to 4k. The same update will also be released for the Xbox One S console.

Not only are resolutions supported in 4k, 4k videos can also be played in 60fps, reports The Verge. However, support for HDR videos is not yet included with this update. It’s not clear when this option will be added to Google’s video app.

The update should gradually become available as an update for both consoles from this point forward, or can be downloaded already from the Windows Store. Several users on Reddit mention that it is a separate YouTube app in the Windows Store.

The Xbox One X has been available worldwide since November 7. Despite the fact that Microsoft focuses specifically on gaming in 4k resolution with the console, the YouTube app did not support resolutions higher than 1080p until now. The Xbox One S has been on the market since August 2016.
