Zotac launches sleek gaming PCs and Gaming product line
Zotac has released a compact game computer that is equipped with full desktop hardware. The MEK1 Gaming PC is available in a white and a black version and has up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti GPU and an Intel Core i7-7700 CPU.
The upright housing of the Zotac MEK1 is 414 millimeters high, 118 millimeters wide and 394 millimeters deep. On the inside you will find a mitx motherboard and a video card that is mounted in line with the motherboard.
The color of the housing indicates which hardware the computer was supplied with. The black variant only comes with a GTX 1070 Ti and Core i7-7700, while the white variant only has a Core i5-7400 and a 6GB version of the GTX 1060.
Both models have 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 240GB NVME SSD and a 1TB HDD, all powered by an undisclosed 450-watt power supply. The systems are also equipped with six USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two PS/2 ports and two gigabit Ethernet adapters. Furthermore, the computer can communicate wirelessly with 802.11ac/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2.
The Zotac MEK1 systems are part of a new Gaming product line from the brand. The company will not disclose when the systems will be available for sale and how much they will cost. It does indicate that there will also be bundles with a mouse and mechanical keyboard.
