Streacom makes collapsible benchtable for mini-itx systems

Streacom has announced a smaller version of its BC1 Open Benchtable. The Mini variant is suitable for mini-itx motherboards. Just like the large model, the benchtable is collapsible and can be used toolless.

The BC1 Mini Open Benchtable has dimensions of 230x190x8mm when folded. When unfolded, the height is 78mm and the motherboard is mounted at a height of 25mm above the benchtable. The whole is made of anodized aluminum and weighs 805 grams. Under the bench table there is space for a power supply in sfx or sfx-l format.

A Community Edition of the small benchtable is offered on the Open Benchtable Initiative website. This was set up by overclockers from various websites in collaboration with Streacom. The price is 164 dollars, converted with VAT that is currently about 169 euros.

About a month from now, the BC1 Mini should be available in stores. Streacom will supply the benchtable in the colors silver, red and black. The black and red versions have an additional cost of 10 and 20 dollars respectively.
