Apple will release its iPad Air tablet in two sizes next year, reports financial news agency Bloomberg. The tablets will be released at the same time as the iPad Pro models with OLED screen. There have been rumors about this before.

The larger iPad Air with 12.9″ screen should give a choice with a large display to buyers who do not want an iPad Pro, reports author Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Gurman often has accurate information about unannounced Apple products. Apple already released a MacBook Air with a larger screen earlier this year and the iPad Air with a larger screen is a copy of that strategy.

The iPad Air is the middle one in Apple’s lineup, together with the iPad mini, which will receive a new version at the end of next year, according to Gurman. The iPad Pros are the most expensive models, with new versions coming out in March next year. These are the biggest changes since 2018. The cheapest iPad will receive a new version at the end of next year. Apple hasn’t said anything about upcoming models. The manufacturer has often released iPads in March.
