The Paradox Mods and code modding public betas will be made available at the end of March. Due to technical problems, asset editing is postponed until a later time. Mod support should leave beta sometime in the fall.

This was announced by the Finnish developer Colossal Order in a blog post. It is also stated that work on the console version continues and is ‘making progress’. It was previously announced that Cities: Skylines II for console will not be released until the spring of 2024. The PC version has been available since last October. Publisher Paradox said just before release that support for Steam Workshop is missing.

Cities: Skylines II is an urban planning simulation game where players are responsible for a city’s infrastructure and budgeting, as well as the well-being of its inhabitants, among other things. The game follows up 2015’s Cities: Skylines.
