Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super with AD103 GPU appears in PCI database
An unannounced GeForce RTX 4080 Super video card from Nvidia has appeared in the PCI ID Repository. This video card is said to have an AD103 GPU. Rumors have been going around for some time about the arrival of an RTX 4080 Super, in addition to an RTX 4070 Super.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super recently appeared in the PCI ID databasenoticed tech website VideoCardz on. The listing shows that the video card will have an AD103 GPU. That is the chip that is also used in the regular RTX 4080, which Nvidia released last year.
The Super variant may get slightly more CUDA cores, although this is not mentioned in the PCI ID Repository. Nvidia previously did something similar in the GeForce RTX 20 series. The listing also states that the RTX 4080 Super will have a device ID of 2703, which suggests that it is a desktop video card. The regular RTX 4080 desktop GPU has the device ID 2704, while the laptop graphics cards have higher numbers as IDs.
