Bitwarden is a cross-platform and open source password management service that stores personal data in an encrypted digital vault. It is basically free to use and access is available for a small amount per year various extras, such as being able to log in with a hardware key for extra security and storage capacity for attachments. Bitwarden is available online, as a desktop client, as a mobile app and as a plug-in for various web browsers. New in this release is the option to log in to the desktop application with authorization from a mobile device instead of with the master password.
