Download PTGui 12.19
A regularly discussed piece of software in the Photo & Video Workflow subforum is PTGui. This program focuses on creating and adjusting composite images. This can be a vertical or horizontal panorama, but also one large image with an enormous resolution that is composed of countless separate shots. With a stack of photos as input, the program can then figure out how to place them next to each other. For the calculation-intensive part, the GPU can also be used via OpenCL to be ready faster. It features various options, where PTGui Pro also makes it possible to combine HDR photos, mask moving objects and adjust the viewing point, among other things. The following changes and improvements have been made in version 12.19:
Changes in version 12.19:
- Much improved German translation by Michael Göricke (vielen Dank!)
- The Panasonic Lumix G 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye is now recognized automatically from the EXIF data.
- Fixed: a subtle color change could occur when stitching images with specific ICC profiles on macs with an Apple M1 or M2 processor.
- Fixed: possible error ‘Assertion Failed’ when excluding a source image by right clicking in the Panorama Editor.
- Fixed: Windows: when running on multiple monitors with different font sizes per monitor, text could be displayed at the wrong size, or cut off.
- Fixed: running Align Images from the Control Points Assistant window would fail to generate any control points.
- LibRaw updated to version 0.21.1 (some raw decoding bugs fixed)
