Download Lunacy 9.1.0
Lunacy is a free graphic design program for Windows, Linux and macOS. It has a large amount of baked-in content, such as icons, photos, masked images and illustrations. It is also able to open Sketch files and use Sketch plugins. The program is actively developed and Icons8 seems to listen carefully to the community. Version 9.1.0 has been released and the following changes and improvements have been made:
Arc editor
With the Arc editor, you can quickly create rings and semirings, design pie charts or other fancy circular elements. Draw an ellipse, and use the handles that show up within the bounding box.
On-canvas controls for editing stars and polygons
Another improvement to save you from digging in the right panel. Adjust the number of vertices, corner radius values, and ratio for stars and polygons by dragging the respective handles right on the canvas.
RTL and BiDi support
Lunacy became more accessible and user-friendly for people who read and write from right to left. When you select an RTL localization, Lunacy’s interface mirrors itself to provide a true RTL experience. We also significantly improved the work with RTL languages on the canvas, as well as the usage of emojis in such languages.
New rendering engine
This version brings a new render engine, which means higher FPS and lower input lags.
Improvements
- We reduced the number of points used to build smooth corners. Thanks to that, squircles now appear even smoother than before.
- Numerous auto layout improvements and fixes.
- Numerous Figma import improvements.
