This is the new BMW M5 Competition

625 hp

The new BMW M5 Competition combines circular features with optimum convenience for everyday use. The power upgrade is 19 kW (25 hp) to 460 kW (625 hp) compared to the regular version, while the responsiveness is even brighter and the chassis is specifically tuned for maximum dynamics, maneuverability, and precision.
The 4.4-liter V8 engine with TwinPower Turbo technology is optimized for the BMW M5 Competition and delivers a maximum torque of 750 Nm over a wider rev range – from 1,800 to 5,800 rpm. Thanks to the powerful engine, the new BMW M5 Competition accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 3.3 seconds and from 0-200 km / h in 10.8 seconds.

Sound

Like the reaction speed of the engine, the sound of the standard mounted M Sports exhaust is adjustable at the push of a button. The driver can also choose a modest soundtrack using the M Sound Control button.
Model-specific engine mounts provide a firm connection between the drive and vehicle structure. This has a noticeable effect on the responsiveness, the sharpness when sending in and the perception of the engine noise.

M xDrive

The M xDrive system puts the emphasis on the rear-wheel drive for a performance-oriented driving sensation. The new M5 Competition adds the M Dynamic Mode with three driving programs tuned to circuit use: 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD that activates full rear-wheel drive and deactivates the Dynamic Stability Control.
Accurate chassis technology adapted to the performance of the engine ensures highly accurate handling at the limit. Specific features are the 7-millimeter lowered chassis, special damper hydraulics, stiffer springs, higher camber values of the front wheels and modified track and stabilizer bars at the rear. The standard equipment also includes exclusive 20-inch forged light metals.

This Competition Pack is available from the beginning of June at the BMW dealer for € 9.151. The starting price of the BMW M5 is € 161,500.
