The next generation of Samsung’s foldable smartphone is said to also have a 7.6″ display with a resolution of 1768×2208 pixels. The current Z Fold4 also has a 7.6″ display, but with a resolution of 1812×2176 pixels. The device would be equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus. There is some uncertainty about the social media present. It may be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or 8 Plus Gen 2, but a Snapdragon 985 is also being discussed.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 would have dimensions of 158.5 x 67.5 mm when closed, while the Z Fold4 was still 155.1 x 67.1 mm. When the device is unfolded, the dimensions are 158.5 x 128.5 mm, compared to the 155.1 x 130.1 mm of the predecessor. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold5 would no longer have a visible fold in the unfolded state. The device is also possible 2mm thicker than the predecessor and 12 grams heavier. This could be partly due to the possible addition of a slot for the S Pen, Samsung’s stylus.
