Renders show ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip with camera island that flips
Apparently official renders of the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip have appeared. The device has a camera island with three cameras, which is mounted on a part of the housing that can flip. This means that all cameras can be used on both sides.
In addition to a regular 64-megapixel camera and a camera sensor with telephoto lens, the device would have a 12-megapixel macro camera, says GSM Arena. The device would also be equipped with a 6.7 “OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a Snapdragon 888-soc.
Journalist Roland Quandt put the images on Twitter. He is known for publishing information about smartphones before they are announced. According to Quandt, the device will be priced at 799 or 819 euros in a version with 8GB of ram and 256GB of flash storage.
ASUS officially announces the Zenfone 8 series on Wednesday evening. A Zenfone 8 mini is also expected, with a 5.9 “OLED screen that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. That device also has a Snapdragon 888-soc. The presentation starts at 19:00 and can be followed on YouTube.
Last year’s Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro also had a camera island that can flip.
