Download Xfire 1.51

Xfire has been updated to version 1.51. This program is aimed at avid gamers and allows them to chat with others both in and out of games, easily find out which game the people on the contact list are playing and then easily add themselves to that game. Xfire can also help you find a fast game server with still free seats, game patches and demos can be downloaded via your own P2P network and there is the option of voice chat. At the moment there are almost 500 games recognised, of which about 150 games’one click join‘ and 250 ‘in game chat‘ to support. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

Release notes for 1.51:

• Added the ability to send a file directly to your friend using the Actions | Send File menu item on chat windows, if you have compatible firewalls. There is no file size limit. We will continue to enhance this feature in future updates.
• Revamped the user interface for voice chat to make it easier to use.
• Added the ability to create and launch a game lobby from a group chat for the following games:

• Fixed a serious texture leak problem with Xfire In-Game continuous mode in OpenGL games.
• Fixed chat color bug with Xfire In-Game.
• Fixed detection of WarRock.
• Fixed a problem preventing old Xfire updates from being automatically deleted.
