SPAMfighter is a useful program in the fight against unwanted e-mails. According to the developer, it already stops 98 percent of spam e-mails after installation. It uses a system called SpamFighters, where users indicate what is and isn’t spam, and incorrect reviews are automatically filtered out by this system. It integrates seamlessly into Outlook and Outlook Express and is free to use as a home user. Version 4.3.8 is now available with the following changes:

Common:

• Minor adjustments should improve spam capture rate
• Faster Block and Unblock operation (performed in the background)
• Improvements to capture more spam

OutlookExpress:

• It is now possible to mark spam mails as read when they are moved to the SPAMfighter folder
• Fixed rare case where Block/Unblock and Clean folder would not work
• Fixed “Invalid Account” error when sending emails
• Footer no longer inserted in emails with cryptographic signature

Outlook:

• Fixes for shutdown and PDA issues
