Download Firmware Tyan Thunder h1000E 2.04

Tyan has for its type motherboards Thunder h1000E (S3970G2NR) released a new bios with 2.04 as the version number. This type of motherboard is based around a Broadcom HT1000 chipset and can accommodate two AMD Opteron 2000 series processors with Socket-1207 sockets. The list of changes looks like this:

Version 2.04:

• Updated AMD AGESA code to v3.1.9.0
• Added Bios option to Enable/Disable USB functions
• Added USB Keyboard Check option for when “Keyboard Error Report” is enabled
• Fixed an issue where you could not properly install the SATA driver under Server 2008
• Fixed a HDD size display error during the summary screen if HDD is larger than 1TB in size
• Fixed an issue where you could not create a RAID 5 array*
• Updated bios boot order to make the Broadcom PXE Option ROM boot first if there were other onboard Option ROMs present
• Force onboard SATA RAID to load Option ROM 2nd if bios detects RAID is enabled
• Updated the Hardware monitor layout and default settings
• Updated the Chassis Intrusion Detection functions
