Microsoft will release a wired Xbox headset in September for 60 euros
Microsoft has announced a wired Xbox headset. The new headphones are cheaper than the current wireless version. Some of the features of the wireless headphones, such as the dial to adjust volume, are also available on the wired version.
By default, Microsoft includes a bright green wire to connect the headset to the console or other device that provides audio, reports the company. The headphones have a 3.5mm jack to connect to devices. The headphones support technologies such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X.
The headphones also have a microphone, just like the wireless version that came out earlier this year. The mute button can also be found on the wired version to quickly switch off the microphone. The headset will be sold separately as an option in addition to the wireless version. The headphones will be available from September 21 for 60 euros.
