Yesterday a new development build of version 6.4.9.1 of Media Player Classic was released with revision number 55. This media player builds on the look and idea of ​​Windows Media Player 6.4. It is a light player without ostentation, but contains many more options and settings to play images and sound. Media Player Classic uses the Directshowarchitecture and often installing the ffdshow filter is enough to play a multitude of audio and video formats. Below are all the changes that have been made to the Meuktracker since the previous entry:

SVN revision 55:

• Added revision number to About dialog.
• Updated libpng

SVN revision 49:

• Added some key bindings.
• Added option to disable the automatic blocking of VSFilter when “Auto-load subtitles” is enabled and the internal subtitle filter is used. Disabling this block allows users to view two different subtitle languages ​​at the same time (if they want to). The option is called “BlockVSFilter” and currently requires manual editing of the registry/ini, since it is not (yet) available in the GUI.
