Download Faststone Image Viewer 3.6 Beta 1

After more than five months of silence, Faststone Soft has released a new version of its popular program Image Viewer, this time a beta. Faststone Image Viewer is free, small, fast and packed with thoughtful features for image viewing and editing, such as rotating (lossless for jpeg), cropping, resizing, red-eye removal, being able to rotate the photo at any angle to correct the ‘skew’ of a camera and to adjust colours, contrast and brightness. On the download page can we find english installer and zip archive. A multilingual download is also available, but has not been updated since version 3.2. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

New Features:

• Now it runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows
• It is possible to show EXIF ​​/ Histogram information and work on the thumbnails at the same time. Just press I key to turn the Image Properties window on/off
• Improved the Batch-Convert (under Tools menu):
  • Allowed Sorting Files in the Input List
  • Added “Expand Mode” option to the Canvas tab of the “Advanced Options” window
  • Supported “drag and drop” files from Windows Explorer to the Input List
• Improved the Draw Board (under Edit menu). Now annotation objects (texts, lines, boxes etc.) can be re-edited by re-opening the Draw Board (press D key)
