Download 7-Zip 4.65
The developers of 7-Zip today released version 4.65 of their eponymous archiver. Available under the gpl license, 7-Zip can handle a variety of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb, and of course the self-developed 7z. Furthermore, the software is capable of opening iso files and Nsis installation packages. In addition to some bug fixes, in this version we find the possibility to use a SHA-256 hash value when encrypting an archive:
Changes in 7-Zip version 4.65:
- 7-Zip File Manager now can calculate SHA-256 checksum.
- Some bugs were fixed.
