Softland has released doPDF version 7.1 build 342. This program installs as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program with a print function. The software is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and does not add any watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen for choosing the location to which the PDF document is to be written, there is an entry to novaPDF. That is a similar program with more extensive options from the same makers, but it is not free. In this release, an issue with the embedding of OpenType fonts has been resolved.
