Download Winamp 5.55 build 2345 beta

A beta release of Winamp 5.55 was released a few days ago with build number 2345. This popular media player can be downloaded in different variants. The Lite version can only play music files. The Full version also allows you to watch video files and listen to Shoutcast broadcasts. In addition, this version has a media library and can be used to rip CDs. Finally, the Pro version can also encode files and burn CDs. However, you have to pay for these features.

In version 5.55 changes have been made to the media library that will make it incompatible with older versions. This was necessary in order to be able to find both ‘Bjork’ and ‘Björk’ in a search for, for example, ‘Bjork’. Below is the full changelog for this release:
