If you still want to play a Sega Saturn game now and then and don’t feel like looking for the old console in the attic, you can use Yabause. Yabause is a Sega Saturn emulator that can play Saturn games in Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows, among others. The software can read the games from a CD or an ISO file that is stored on the hard disk. on this page you can find out if your favorite Saturn game is already fully supported.
The developers have released a new version of Yabause with 0.9.9 as the version number. The list of changes since the previous entry in the junk tracker looks like this:

Now that half of emulation news sites already told about the release, it’s time for us to do the same 🙂 Yabause 0.9.9 is out and is mostly a bugfix release, though it adds a few features to some ports like locale detection for Gtk+ /Qt ports and support for up to 12 pads in the Qt port.

- Automatic detection of current locale.

- Added support of DESTDIR and –program-prefix

- Hooks for renaming .desktop on installation.
- .yts file are now installed.
- Fixed parallel builds.
- SDL peripheral core now handles all connected joysticks.
