Download Wireshark 1.1.2

A new development version of the open source protocol analyzer and packet sniffer Wireshark was released on Thursday with version number 1.1.2. Wireshark can be used to parse and analyze many hundreds of different network protocols and data packets sent over the network. Furthermore, the program can also use already stored data traffic as input. Several improvements have been made in this release, especially for Windows users. For example, the file preview has been improved, various auxiliary libraries have been updated and support for GeoIP has been added:

This version improves file previews on Windows, updates supporting libraries (including a security fix in c-ares), and adds GeoIP support.
