Download Apple iWeb 1.1

Apple has a new version put online from iWeb, namely 1.1. The new-fangled release is from this server download and requires just over 88.80 megabytes of disk space. iWeb is part of iLife ’06 and was introduced early this year. The program allows users to publish photos, movies and podcasts on a weblog. Via iLife Media Browser, these media files can be placed on the site of your .Mac account in a few clicks. In iWeb 1.1, Apple has made the following changes:

iWeb 1.1 update adds two new features for .Mac subscribers and addresses a variety of usability and performance issues for all users. An abbreviated list of updates is below.

• Comment support for blogs and podcasts (.Mac published sites only
• Blog search support (.Mac published sites only)
• Usability improvements to themes and templates.
• Image management fixes to improve site performance.
• Other bug fixes and usability improvements.

iWeb 1.1 Updater will update your iWeb version 1.0 or 1.0.1 if it is in your Applications folder and you have not changed its name. You need an administrator password to install this software.
