Download SugarSync 3.3.0

Version 3.3.0 has been released from SugarSync. This online storage and synchronization service is comparable to services such as Dropbox, Wuala, Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud. The program can be used to backup or easily access files from different places. SugarSync only has paid plans with a storage of 60, 100 or 250GB, with Prices from $75 per year. Previously there was also a free account with 5GB storage, but that is abolished. More information about the possibilities of SugarSync is here can be found and compared with other services here. Clients exist for various mobile platforms, Windows and OS X, but not yet for Linux. In addition, there is a Outlook plugin. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in version 3.3.0

• You may now use copy & paste and drag & drop functions with SugarSync. Copy & paste are supported for both the upload of new content and the download of files/folders to your computer. Leverage these functions using either keyboard shortcuts (ctrl – c, ctrl – v) or via the SugarSync context menus. Drag & drop can now be used to easily create new root folders or to upload content to existing folders.

• We’ve also enhanced the new file transfer status screen, by adding the ability to search for specific files that are in the upload or download queue. Simply type in a file name and matching results will be filtered for your easy access.
