Download CCleaner 5.00.5035 Beta

Piriform has released the first public beta version of CCleaner 5.0. This program can be used to clean various parts of Windows. This includes temporary Windows and Internet files, but also unnecessary junk from a large number of other programs, including Windows Media Player, Google Toolbar, Microsoft Office, Nero, Photoshop, Ad-Aware, WinRAR and so on. In addition, the number of programs that CCleaner can clean up can easily be expanded with the CCEnhancer program. In addition to cleaning up, CCleaner can also fix errors in the registry and shortcuts, modify the list of programs that start with Windows and it is possible to manage cookies. In version 5.0, the program has been given a new look, but otherwise not much else seems to have changed at the moment. The release notes don’t say anything about that either.

After months of design, development and testing we are very excited to announce that CCleaner v5.0 is available to download in Beta!

CCleaner v5.0 sees a change with a redesigned, modern interface. The current interface you know and love has remained largely the same since its first release almost 10 years ago, so we decided it was time to give it a fresh new look!

Our design team have worked hard to bring CCleaner up-to-date while making sure it still felt like the same tool that our hundreds of millions of users love. We are extremely happy with the result, and we hope you are too!

For advanced users we have a beta version of CCleaner v5 available for you to download. (We don’t recommend using this outside of test environments.)
