New owner wants to open Afuture again at the end of next week
The new Afuture owner Beat-it.nl wants to reopen the webshop at the end of next week. The webshop went bankrupt a few months ago and Beat-it.nl bought the software and the name of the webshop from the bankrupt estate.
The former staff of Afuture is not going along, according to the topic on GoT. The Afuture site, which was offline for a few months, can now be consulted again. It contains a text about the upcoming reopening of Afuture. “On March 21, 2017, the vof Afuture was declared bankrupt. After negotiations with the bankruptcy trustee, an asset transaction was concluded with Beat-it.nl whereby Beat-it.nl took over the intellectual property of the software for the webshop of Afuture, as well as the company/trade name.”
The webshop should reopen around July 1, according to the new owner. It is unknown whether the offer will remain the same or whether it concerns a new webshop with a changed assortment. Afuture went bankrupt in March after customers hadn’t received orders for days. The webshop was founded in 2006.
