A new version of the archiving programs RAR and WinRAR has been published on the Rarlabs site. This is the third beta version of the 3.60 series, which will be launched from this page can be downloaded for Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and Mac OS X, among others. RAR and WinRAR are able to pack and unpack files, folders and disks compressed with the proprietary rar format. It is also possible to extract zip, arj, tar and bzip2 packages, among other things.
