Version 0.20 of FreeCAD has been released. FreeCAD is a free and open source Computer Aided Design program and is primarily intended for mechanical design, but can also be used for electronic design or in architecture. In version 0.19, the move from Python 2 and Qt4 to Python 3 and Qt5 is now complete, but a lot more has happened. Extensive release notes can be found on this page are being found; this is the introduction to it:

The FreeCAD bug tracker was moved to GitHub† Note: Only bug reports with a prior forum discussion will be considered. Reports without this will be closed.

New help system

The help system was rewritten and upgraded to display information directly from our Wiki† The system now relies on the Help Addon† When you first use the Help tool or the what’s this? tool you will be asked to install it.
