Download Firmware Sony PlayStation 4 4.05

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 4. The new firmware carries version number 4.05 and is 298MB in size. Downloading is preferably done from the update menu of the game console itself, but can also be done via the Sony website†

New in version 4.05 includes the ability to create an event, change online status and play a game on a Windows PC or Mac using Remote Play. The changelog since version 4.0 looks like this:

• [Profiel] Users can choose a cover image for their profile

• [Dataoverdacht] Users can transfer all their games, saved data, photos/videos and settings from one PS4 to another
• [Live van PlayStation] Users can let other players know that they like their screenshots and video clips by commenting or clicking “Like”
• [Trofee] Users can view trophies and hidden trophies information offline
• [Privacy-instelling] Usage can hide all activities and trophies per game
• [Community] Users can share screenshots on the community wall and comment on original posts on the wall from the Share menu.
