HMD will launch its Android smartphones under the Nokia brand in Finland from next week. The manufacturer previously promised to release the devices in the Benelux before the summer, but HMD has not yet announced a date for this.

HMD will be the first to release the Nokia 3 on June 13. The Nokia 5 and 6 will be released on June 20, NPU writes. The device has now gone on pre-sale at a Finnish retailer. The Nokia 3 costs 149 euros, the 5 is sold for 199 euros and the 6 costs 249 euros.

The Finnish manufacturer released the Nokia 6 with different software in China at the beginning of this year. The release of the three smartphones marks the comeback of smartphones under the Nokia brand in Europe. The last smartphones to be released under the Nokia brand name were the Lumia 735 and 830 in 2014. The last Android smartphones with the Nokia name on it was the X series from 2014.

In addition to the smartphones, HMD also releases a phone without smartphone functions under the name 3310. Because of that name, the device has attracted a lot of attention, although the phone is only partly reminiscent of the classic telephone from the beginning of this century in appearance, software and features.
