Download FileZilla Server 0.9.58

A new version of the open source FTP server FileZilla Server has been released. FileZilla Server is a small and powerful ftp server that includes support for fxp (sending files from one ftp server to another), secure connections (ssl and tls), gss authentication and Kerberos encryption. Unlike the client version, which is also available for Linux and OS X, the server version is only developed for Windows, but not very active. In version 0.9.58, the following changes and improvements have been made:

New features:

• TCP send buffer auto-tuning
• Performance improvements to reduce CPU usage under high load
• Disabled IDEA and SEED ciphers for FTP over TLS

Bug fixes and minor changes:

• Fixed potential crash if closing connections with pending socket messages
• A missing home directory is no longer treaded like an empty directory
