Apple Watch Series 8 measures your body temperature

Tomorrow will announce the Apple Watch Series 7 tomorrow. It looks completely different from the current Apple Watch. But what about new health features, which many people hope for? They will probably be out this year. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kou, you’ll have to wait for the Apple Watch Series 8 for that.

Apple Watch Series 8: thermometer measures your body temperature

Kuo thinks that the Apple Watch will get a new health function in 2022: he means a sensor that measures your body temperature. With that, your Apple Watch is in fact a thermometer. The Apple Watch could warn you if you have a fever and are therefore sick. Thanks to the temperatures, women get a better insight into their fertile days.

Little by little, the Apple Watch is getting more and more health features. Previously, these were, for example, an ECG sensor, fall detection and a blood oxygen meter. Many people have a blood glucose meter on their wish list for the Apple Watch. But that function is still in the future at the moment.

AirPods also get health functions

Kuo says health features will also be incorporated in a future version of the AirPods Pro. There have been rumors about this before: the AirPods Pro monitor your heart rate, count the number of steps you have taken and detect health problems.

Apple event tomorrow

But first there’s this year’s Apple event, which takes place tomorrow. With a lot of attention for the iPhone 13, but also for wearables such as the Apple Watch Series 7 and the third generation of the regular AirPods.
